Tokidoki Barbie Launch Event

Tokidoki will finally be releasing their take on Barbie on October 8th in Santa Monica, California. The first 150 people in line will get to meet the brains behind the operation, Simone Legno. No word yet on when this doll will be available everywhere else, but I'm sure it won't be too long afterwards. When I first saw this flyer I read it as "Barbie Lunch Event" but then I realized how silly that is because Barbie hasn't eaten lunch since 1962.

Pobber Toys NYCC Update

Pobber Toys as given us a sneak peak at a new color way of Doktor A's Humphry Mooncalf figure. He will be available at New York Comic Con and that's about all we know right now.

We also have a small update on the Mork figure from Mad that will also make an appearance at NYCC this year. Below, you can see what the toy looks like sans paint. Again, I know more about the mating habits of oxen than I do these toys. But they look mighty fancy so far.

Argonaut Resins Leopard Tuttz for NYCC

I like kitties. I like toys. I like kitty toys. Argonaut Resins will have a few of these Leopard Mini Tuttz for sale at New York Comic Con in addition to all the other amazing stuff you already knew about. I also live in New Jersey, and if you watch reality tv you know that leopard print is considered a "Jersey Neutral" meaning you can wear it with anything. We have different fashion rules here than anywhere else in the world.

Mad x Pobber Toys for NYCC

A toy that looks like this and that was made by Mad and Pobber Toys will be released at New York Comic Con this year. That's all I know cause no one ever tells me anything.

More Craziness from Super 7

Super 7 are hijacking your wallet with their toys. Just when you think you may make it a little while before you see something you have to have BAM! they jump out from a dark alley and beat you senseless with their amazing plastic skills. Charcoal Flame Hanoo from Leecifer is $35 and may or may not set your house on fire. Milton, the little upside down ice cream cone bro is painted up like his favorite He-Man bad guy and will be $25. They will be released on September 30th at noon Pacific time. Resistance is futile!

Dark Horse Spider-Man Syroco for NYCC

Dark Horse just released this picture of their exclusive Spider-Man Syroco statue for New York Comic Con. These will be $49.99 each and will be extremely limited. They go on sale on preview day at the con, so if you want one you better try to get in on Thursday. It will come packaged in a tin box and is ready to chill and judge you from wherever you put him in your house. Just look at him, all cocky with his hand on his hip. "Are you really wearing those pajama pants out in public?" "Girl, please, you better put some jeans on before you go to the mall." Spider-Man loves What Not to Wear.

Shawnimals NYCC Exlcusives

I never write anything about plush toys. I really don't know why that is, cause it's not like I'm mad at them or anything. I ain't no plush hater so check out this new shiz from Shawnimals that attendees of New York Comic Con will have the chance to add to their collections of fuzzy.
First up we have an exclusive color way of the Zombie Ninja of the Month. Each one is signed an numbered and is limited to only 50 pieces. Undead plush will run you $40 each.

Next up is Pocket Undercover Ninja: Flying Devil. Just like the name says, he's a wee bit smaller than his zombie cousin and is a wee bit more limited, as only 20 pieces exist. He'll set you back $25.

And what would Comic Con be without taking home your very own mustache? Crap, that's what it would be. So luckily you'll be able to get one even if you can't grow your own. They're $20 a pop, which is less than Rogaine, and will come in all sorts of fun colors.
