Welcome Our New Sponsor Creo Design!

It's our first ever sponsor and to celebrate we're gonna help you save some money on some really cool toys.  You can save 20% off the price of the Funghi figure from TADO or the Lawhill figure from  Akinori Oishi.  Both are extremely limited so the ability to get them for less than retail is something you should take advantage of.  Now there are a few steps you need to take to get your discount and I made you a nice little list so its easy to follow along:

1.) Post this saying on the Creo Design Facebook page (here) and then Tweet it to Creo @creodesign an @thetoyviking.  "I love TADO Creo Design and Toy Viking because I am a Funghi"

2.) That's pretty much it.  See how easy that was.

This offer is only good while supplies last so get going!!!

Black 13 Calaverita from The Beast Brothers

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th.  It's a day where superstitious people refuse to leave their beds and teenagers are unceremoniously slaughtered by a man wearing a hockey mask as they do all those things their parents tell them not to.  But forget all that nonsense and feast your beady little eyes on this.  This sweet skull is made by The Beast Brothers, who you may know from their Kidrobot releases.  These are made of fiberglass and hand painted by the pair.  Each one will cost $130 and they go on sale today at 13.13pm EST (or 1:13, but that's not a sinister nor is it keeping with the theme).  Only 13 of these exist and would look great anywhere in your house that's been begging for a "scare the crap outta people" statement piece.

Don't forget that in February they'll be releasing their collaborative 8 inch Dunny with Huck Gee.  I can't wait to see what the complete toy looks like.

Living Dead Dolls Variant Set

Anyone that was lucky enough to snag the very first series of Living Dead Dolls knows that they're sitting on a gold mine.  Those figures are highly sought after and a lot of collectors would kill to have them.  For those of you that missed out on these creepy little babies the first go round, Mezco is now rereleasing that initial set to celebrate their 13th anniversary.  All of the paint and the clothing is the same, but the bodies are made differently and now have ball joints.  You can only buy these as a complete set for $190.  Only 240 sets were made and they're only available by clicking here.  I for one will live quite comfortably knowing these little weirdos will not be staring at me while I sleep.  These dolls are just one cursed monkey's paw away from terrorizing your family.

Kozik x Kidrobot Choice Cuts Labbit

I never thought of eating a Labbit before.  Sure, I have a lot of them around the house, always looking at me and judging me, but they never seemed that tasty.  Even if I wanted to eat one I wouldn't even know how to begin the complex process of breaking down the critter into edible bits.  Until now.  Frank Kozik, a man I've always thought of as a problem solver, has provided everything we need to butcher our own little tasty bugger with this Choice Cuts Labbit.  Kidrobot will be releasing this yummy morsel on February 9th for $80.  Yeah, I'm gonna need this.

January Releases from Super7

Thus far, 2012 has been challenging.  I had to scrounge up enough cash for a major repair to my wife's truck, got into a fight with a major credit card company who didn't realize I live in New Jersey and therefore am armed with tons of colorful language, and been a bit under the weather.  January has been no fun to say the least, but new toys can always make it better.  Super7 must be connected to my very thoughts because I have just stumbled upon this plethora of releases they have planned before this hellish month comes to an end.  First up are those yellow guys on the left.  Early Morning Garuru and Sunburnt Yellow Prick came out today and are only $35 each.  The white fella is Abominable Leroy C.  and his buddy DokoDuo come out next Thursday, January 19th and are also $35 each.  And finally you have the Green Hell on Wheels Casket Cruiser that releases January 26th for $65.  He costs a little bit more but is absolutely my favorite of the bunch.  I also bet his car doesn't have any moving parts that will eventually go bad and bring great sadness (and bills) to its owner.  That's probably why he's smiling.

DC Comics x Skelanimals

Skelanimals are kinda weird.  They're like roadkill that doesn't smell bad or leak all over the place when you try to cuddle it.  And because they're not real no one will call the police and have you committed for being a complete nut job.  That being said, Skelanimals and DC Comics have teamed up to bring you these costumed dead things.  They're kinda cute I suppose, and it's always nice to see two popular companies come together and create something new.  The Flash freaks me a out a little bit though, with his bit of skull poking out of the bottom of his mask.  I don't trust him.

Boba Fett Jumbo Machinder from Super7

Super7 is releasing teasers all week of the toys you can expect to see from them this year and the first one is a biggie.  Following the success of their Stormtrooper figure comes everyone's favorite Bounty Hunter (not the guy with the mullet) Boba Fett!!!  We've kinda known about this one for awhile, but now we know it will see the light of day before they end of the year.
