Tenacious Toys x Scott Tolleson Qee Kickstarter Project
This is Uncle Argh, who you may have remembered being a tad more colorful when he was first released last year from Toy2r. Well now he's gone all gloomy on us in this special Noir Edition that will be an exclusive for Tenacious Toys. I say "will be" because everything is sitting at the factory waiting to go, but they gotta drum up some funds first. Hey, making toys ain't cheap, but you can help by going here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tenacioustoys/tenacious-exclusive-scott-tolleson-uncle-argh-noir and preordering the figure. Or if you want some cool exclusive stuff from the artist behind the toy, Scott Tolleson, you can give more. How many of us really get to have a say in the actual creation of a toy? I know no one ever asks me what I think, so this is our chance to feel like a part of this project.

Custom Toy of the Week: Shawn Wigs
The amazing toy concoction you see here is the work of customizer Shawn Wigs. It was created as part of the Bad Applez Inc. online show "I'm a Bad Apple." He manages to incorporate a Dunny, Munny, and Apple Jacks cereal, which I'm sure is the first time such a feat has even been attempted. This is just a small taste of the work that Shawn puts out, as he is one of the most prolific customizers out there. Check out his website and get yourself some originals sucka.

Jason Freeny Resin Moofs
I like cats, you all know this. Sometimes my cats even do all my work on this blog so I can catch up on my tv watching. So anytime there's a toy based on a cat, I get a little but excited.
Jason Freeny is releasing some resin Moof figures through Jailbreak Toys very soon. The ones you see above are in the process of being finished by the man himself before they go up for sale. They will be $50 each and will come signed and numbered. This is a really good price considering what Mr. Freeny's handmade sculptures go for. Get one for yourself, or your favorite toy blogger who loves kitties. Either one.
The Dark Knight Rises Icon Statues
The Dark Knight Rises has a killer amount of product already slated to be released and the movie is still months away. So just to drive Batman fans a little crazier and push them into poverty, DC Direct has announced these 1:6 scale Icon Statues. You can choose from Batman, Bane, or Catwoman (hellooooo Anne Hathaway). Each one will set you back $129 and will be available for purchase on June 20th.

Super Fattie Fatcap by Queen Andrea x Kidrobot
It's been quite a while since Kidrobot has released one of these guys. They got famed grafitti artist Queen Andrea to write her name on it a billion times and do some other brightly colored things that make me feel like I'm at a Grateful Dead show in '72. These are limited to just 1,000 pieces and you have a 1 in 6 chance of scoring the limited purple and grey version. You can have yours March 22nd for $60.
Spider Baby Boom Artist Series from Toy2r
Whenever the misses and I check into a hotel room I have two things that I must do immediately.
1.) Check under the mattress for dead hookers.
2.) Check under the sheets for any signs of bed bugs.
Bed bugs are the reason I am no longer allowed to watch the Discovery Channel unsupervised. Does it get much freakier than some irritating little critters draining you of your blood while you sleep? I didn't think so and you're welcome for your new phobia.
The Spider Baby Boom toys have always reminded me of something that looks harmless, but would probably kill you if you gave it the chance. This series features some pretty cool designs from some pretty well known artists. You have Jon-Paul Kaiser, Lunabee, Sneaky Raccoon, MCA, and Pocket Wookie to name a few. Have you ever noticed that many artists, like rappers, don't use their real names. Do you think its cause they have warrants?
These will be blind boxed and available sometime this year.
