Ajee in Porcelain from K. Olin Tribu

I raved a ton about this figure when it was originally released in vinyl late last year.  It's called Kosplay and it is the design of french artist Ajee.   And just when you thought it couldn't get any better the folks at K. Olin Tribu have decided to make a porcelain edition.  Here are a bunch of pics of what it will look like.  No idea on price or release date yet, but if you want one I would save my money because it won't be cheap, but it will be worth it.

Glossy Mega Munnys from Kidrobot

I am loving these. I know the Munny platform is generally meant to be customized but I don't think I could bring myself to change these one bit. The glossy finish makes enough of a statement as it is, and as big as they are there is no way they wouldn't be the center of any room or collection. I think they'd also make a pretty killer dry erase board. Imagine writing down your grocery list or a maybe us it next to the phone to take messages on for the folks you live with.

Now the important stuff. These will be available April 12th for $250. From the folks at Kidrobot. Yeah, they're not cheap, but they're stylish and people will be impressed with your good taste. How many times will that realistically happen in your lifetime?

Triclops x Unbox Industries Present PeeNut

When I was a wee lad there was nothing better than getting that little plastic garbage can filled with M.U.S.C.L.E. figures from the toy store and having epic wrestling matches until I passed out. Or the dog chewed the arms off and I had to save for another batch. Now Triclops and Unbox Industries are allowing me to relive those memories with PeeNut, the first Mega B.A.S.T.A.R.D. figure. All three colors of this angry legume will be available the first week of April for $45 each. Oh, and they're limited to 200 pieces. Luckily my cats don't seem to have a taste for my toys, cause I'm feeling the need for an old school WWF throwdown!

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

Secret Base x Toy Art Gallery Spongebob X-Ray

Ever wondered what was going on inside Spongebob?  No, me neither, because a real sponge has absolutely nothing happening in its innards.  Just little holes everywhere that are good for little more than scrubbing your bathtub (which is filthy by the way).  But I have been proven wrong by the combined efforts of Secret Base and Toy Art Gallery who present this Spongebob X-Ray figure.  Standing at 5 inches tall, this pants wearing kitchen tool is exposing himself for the world to see that there is more to him than previously thought by science.  He has a skeleton!!!!  I guess that makes sense since he does have teeth and whatnot, but still I am shocked by this revelation.

You can own this figure and a cool t-shirt for $185 right now by checking out: http://www.toyartgallery.com/.

Super7 x Bwana Spoons Frederick the Beetle

Introducing the newest character to join the Super7 family, Frederick the Beetle.  This little guy is the brainchild of Bwana Spoons and is just down right cute.  There, I said it.  I have feelings sometimes.  Unlike most Super7 releases, they are actually throwing a party to introduce this new critter to the masses.  So if you're in the San Francisco area clear your calendar on March 24th and take part in all the excitement.  Here are the details:

Bwana Spoons's Frederick Fest!
Saturday, March 24th @ 11AM Pacific
Super7 Store

Yo Gabba Gabba Pop! Vinyl from Funko

When I was younger we had our share of weird children's programming that was meant to keep us busy while our parents went to work, or to the bar. I was babysat by a host of characters including Scooby Doo, Mr. Rogers, and The Dukes of Hazard (that wasn't a kids show?). Now those little rug rats have Yo Gabba Gabba to keep them busy with a menagerie of colorful characters and killer songs. Funko now let's you bring the whole cast home as part of their POP! Vinyl toys series. They're coming out in May and are ultra affordable so you won't feel too bad about buying them all. Plus it we support this show hopefully they'll never bring the Teletubbies back. Those things freak me out.
