Alice Femme Fatale From Diamond Select Toys

Normally I make it's point to ignore women covered in blood and carrying kitchen knives. If you give them attention you're just reinforcing the behavior and they'll always thinks its ok to act this way. Plus, they'll probably want you to buy them shoes cause that's what all girls with crazy eyes want.

Behold Alice, from American McGee's game of the same name. And you thought Wonderland was a freaky place before! This 9 inch PVC statue will be available this fall from the nice people at Diamond Select Toys. Maybe in time for New York Comic Con? We'll have to wait and see.

Disney Star Wars Weekends Exclusive Vinylmation Figures

Star Wars Weekends are starting in a few days at all the Disney theme parks and you know they would have to have some figures that I can't live without. It is our curse, as toy collectors, to be tormented at every turn by new things that seem unattainable. Thankfully, with the magic of the Internet and people looking to make a quick buck, I'm sure I'll be able to piece this set together.

I present to you the latest Vinylmation/Star Wars figures. This time they have popular Disney characters dressed like the folks from the films, which is ok I suppose. I'm not really a Disney fan, but I love Star Wars enough to need these pretty badly.

Nathan Jurevicius x Kidrobot Misko Series

Wooden toys are a neat thing. Their materials are completely sustainable and they are reminiscent of many of our childhoods. You know, the childhoods before we discovered BB guns and fireworks. Once we learned about shooting things and making them blow up, we lost the the innocence that such objects offered us. I'm gonna make myself get all teary eyed and whatnot.

Nathan Jurevicius and Kidrobot are here to give our nostalgia a kick in the pants with the new Misko blind box series. These adorable wooden owls have interchangeable heads and collars and are only $9.95 each. They're available March 24th so take the day off from work, break out your carpet square, and lay on the floor playing with these guys until you fall asleep. Ahhhh, the days before we had responsibilities.

Tara Mcpherson x Kidrobot 20 Inch Dunny Reveal

Oh Tara McPherson, how you torment me so with this release.  I love your work and I own just about every toy of yours that I can get my little mitts on, but now you have not 1 but 2 releases I feel I may never obtain.  These new 20 inch Dunnys would look stunning in my house.  I already have places to put them on either side of my tv so they can look like the foo dogs outside of the asian buffet.  But at $400 each, I don't see how I'm going to be able to make this dream a reality.  Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're worth every penny, but I think my wife may castrate me if I were to spend $800 on something that wasn't a mode of transportation.  Kidrobot don't think some of my torment doesn't lie with you.  You after all are responsible for bringing these pieces to life and selling them for just below what I could get for a lung on the black market (I'd have enough left over to visit that previously mentioned asian buffet).   Alas, May 24th shall forever be a day of mourning, for it is a day that will ever remind me that my collection is not complete.  Do you think I could run a Kickstarter campaign to buy these?

King Negora Available for PreOrder from Max Toy Co.

This is one bad kitty cat!.  Max Toy Company is now offering preorders for this killer King Negora figure.  He looks pissed about something.  Maybe it's a wicked hair ball.  Maybe he's scheduled to get neutered.  Maybe he doesn't understand why you have to be so lazy and can't get the can of Fancy Feast open in a more reasonable time frame.  No matter what it is,  it's too late for apologies, cause he's on the rampage.  And standing at 9 and 1/2 inches tall, no toy in your collection is safe from the wrath of this kaiju kitten!!!!!! He also come with a little rat buddy, cause you know, every monster cat needs a henchman.  Get yours now for $125 by going to http://www.maxtoyco.com/.

Custom Toy of the Week: THARP

Our buddy THARP is all over the place these days. First he gets his Ohiya clothing line in Against All Odds stores, and just last night he was featured at the Dudebox launch party with this custom piece. I'd say he's having a pretty good year!   There is a lot going on with this guy and he really highlights how much surface the Dude figures have to work with.  You can check out more work from THARP by going to http://www.tharpsmart.com/wp/.
