Love Yeti Mini Marshall from 64 Colors x Rotofugi

Normally, I stay clear of any big hairy thing that is hell bent on trying to love me.  It's just one of those weird personal rules I have.  Call me crazy, but it has served me well thus far in life.  So this guy makes me a tad nervous, though luckily he is actualy quite tiny and I could step on him if he tries to get too fresh.

64 Colors and Rotofugi are releasing this special Love Yeti Mini Marshall just in time for Valentine's Day.  Maybe I'll get one of these for my wife, cause if you ask me other Valentine's Day presents are just asking for trouble.  Sure, girls love diamonds, but so do muggers.  You think I'm ever gonna hear the end of that one if she gets robbed for her sweet diamond necklace?  And flowers die, which could be a bad omen for your relationship.  Chocolates make you gain weight and no man can afford for their lady to buy an entire new wardrobe because of a misguided gift.  You see what I'm getting at here?  This guy is the safest of all presents you could possibly get that special someone in your life.  Or someone's if you're scandalous.

The Love Yeti goes on sale Tuesday, February 5th at 11am Central time at http://www.rotofugi.com/ for the low low price of $7.95.

Clear Orange Resin Gipper Bust from Frank Kozik

Normally I don't post stuff up on the weekends because I figure you guys are all still drunk or in jail and won't get to read it anyway.  Each post is a tiny work of literary genius that contains profound information you can use to your benefit.  If you didn't see them I would cry/cut myself and who needs that?

Frank Kozik is at it again with his wacky resin hijinks.  This orange Gipper resin bust is for a show he has tonight at Varnish Fine Art in San Francisco.  If you can't make it to the show you can still get one of these because the gallery will have them for sale on their website.  The show starts at 6pm Pacific time, so I would keep an eye on http://www.varnishfineart.com/ around then.  There's only 50 of them and they will be $75 each.  That's a deal considering he makes them all himself.  Or he at least supervises his basement factory staffed with transients while he pets his cats and laughs maniacally.  Either way they turned out really nice.

Pseudomorphism: Blobpus vs. Paul Kaiju at Toy Art Gallery

Toy Art Gallery would be reason enough to live in California.  It seems no matter when I check my email, they have some cool event going on that I get to drool about from 3,000 miles away.  Maybe they should open an East Coast location and they could have simultaneous toy shows, or they could treat it like a small town movie theater and we could get to see all the cool stuff 2 months after everyone else.  Either way I'm cool with it and just so every knows, this was my one genius idea for the day so don't expect too much more out of me.  My brain must rest now.

This crazy show opens tomorrow night and will feature the works of Paul Kaiju, Blobpus, Hanawa, and Yamomark.  You wanna see crazy toys that are like an LSD nightmare come to life?  Then this is the place to be.  Scroll down a bit and you can get a quick preview of what they'll have there.

Custom Toys of the Week: Blinded By Love Blind Box Series

I live near Atlantic City but I never partake in the casinos.  You wanna know why?  Cause I hate losing money.  Any time I've ever lost money I think about all the things I could have bought with it instead of putting it into a machine with the hopes of hitting it big.  I'm a sucky gambler unless I know I'm gonna walk away with something, which I suppose defeats the purpose of gambling.  But if you fancy a game of chance with the guarantee of still getting something cool, then I have something for you.

Dave Webb and a bunch of his fellow customizers put together this Blinded by Love custom Munny blind box series.  For $100 you get one of the customs you see above, plus you'll have the chance to score a golden ticket and get an extra one for free.  They go on sale February 5th at 5pm through http://davemarkart.storenvy.com/.

Cupid Cavey from A Little Stranger

This is so cute I could die!  Literally die right here in my seat.  But I have to be at work soon and I don't want to get in trouble for not calling to tell them I was dead, so maybe I'll just pass out and hit my head on the keyboard  uehfoeuhu3bujrjnvorj4porrofjekckn.dckdklncknihroh fhrfjk3rn3k/rn3r.

Ok, I don't know how long I've been out, but I have a headaches and the letter J is suck up my nose.  OOOOOOOh my God it's sooooooooooooooo cute.  Just look at that wittle face, and those wittle wings.  It's Cupid Cavey and he (or she, I don't think they're gender specific) was made by A Little Stranger.  She hand made 40 of these little guys (or gals) and you can get one right now from http://heycavey.bigcartel.com/.

Super7 Superbowl Sale

Pretty self explanatory there, which is good because I still have to shower and shave for work.

Yesterday I went to the zoo with my wife, even though I had a stomach ache and probably should have just stayed in bed and complained.  But they have deer there you can feed and while deer are no uber rare species of creature they never let you get close to them in the wild.  So it's kind of neat to have one come up to you to eat your popcorn.  And the goats are always fun, and they had this crow that was pretty chill and would catch pieces of popcorn from you and then dance around his cage.  They have tigers and stuff like that too but they won't let you close enough to pet them, which I don't understand.  I'm a grown man, I should be allowed to pet the tiger if I want to.  This story has absolutely nothing to do with toys at all, so I apologize if you were waiting for me to bring it back around and tie it all together.  Not gonna happen.  You can see some of my zoo pics on my Instagram.  Just look up TheToyViking.  I know I went all creative with the name there.  Gotta keep it consistant, for marketing purposes of course.  This thing is gonna take me to the top.  The top of the dung heap, which was pretty huge in the goat's enclosure.  Someone should have shoveled it out.

Ferg x Grody Shogun Lucky Bags from Lulubell Toy Bodega

Not too long ago I finished up the biography of Walter Freeman, who was the guy who invented the icepick lobotomy.  Pretty fascinating stuff, especially since he was just kinda poking around and guessing at where he was cutting in your brain to cure you of mental disease.  Had his patients been as transparent as these guys, his success rate would have probably skyrocketed.

These are the Young Ghosts from Ferg and Grody Showgun.  Today at noon Pacific through Lulubell Toy Bodega you can pick up a lucky bag that will contain one random figure from the glorious pile you see here:

Plus one of these guys:

That's 2 figures for the low low price of $55!!!  What else can you buy these days for $55??  A hamburger from McDonalds made out of orphans?  I can barely fill my car up with gas for that much and I'm just gonna burn it up anyway, so why not use the money to buy something I can keep forever.
