Sugar, Lamb, Go! from Brandi Milne x 3D Retro for SDCC

OH MY GAWD this is precious!  I don't mean that in a sarcastic way either, I mean it in a rip your face off and feed it to a rabid raccoon cause this is so cute you could die sort of way.  I wanna carry this around in my beard with me everywhere I go.  We could listen to death metal together, and watch reenactments of the dark ages on the History Channel, and get into bar fights.

Brandi Milne is the artist behind this amazing creation.  What I like about her is that her painting have so much exaggerated movement in them, like everything in the scene could completely succumb to a strong breeze whipping through the canvas.  I already have her other toy Bunny, Ride, Go!  and this  would be a fine companion piece indeed.  3D Retro is releasing 200 of these at San Diego Comic Con and hopefully only 199 people want one so I can by the leftover peppermint lamb lady.  I will crush someone's skull if they buy the last one.  Unless they were planning to mail it to me, in which case I will smack them on the hiney and yell "good play."

Yuki 7 from Kevin Dart x Gentle Giant for SDCC

And now for something completely different.  This is not what I would expect from Gentle Giant, who are known more for their super realistic versions of film and television characters.  Created by Kevin Dart, this super secret agent is an exclusive to San Diego Comic Con and being that the preorders for non attendees have already sold out, you're gonna need to find a friend to snag you this.

First SDCC Exclusives from Funko

You can expect a bazillion of posts detailing the exclusives that Funko will have for San Diego Comic Con.  They have a list that is insanely long and they are just now starting to reveal some of what they're bringing.  Like these metallic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!  The shiny paint is so much cooler than the regular release, so I imagine these will be really popular.

Or if you prefer your toys fresh from a crime scene rather than a Saturday morning cartoon marathon, then how about some blood spattered Walking Dead figures.

Or if your more into intergalactic gore, they also have the Alien and Predator figures covered in green blood!  This is just the tip of the iceberg and will most likely cause you to go broke by the end of summer trying to track them all down.

Custom Deadbeet Show at Toy Art Gallery Tonight!

Cancel your necromancy club meeting for tonight!  But only if you live in Los Angeles or within driving distance, cause Toy Art Gallery has a custom show tonight featuring Scott Tolleson's Deadbeet figure.  A bazillion artists took this weird little dude and made him their own and you can see the results first hand and even buy one if you fancy it.  The opening reception is from 7-10 Pacific time and you never know who might be there hanging out with their work.

New DC Comics Pop! Vinyl Figures from Funko

Funko has got to be tired of my shenanigans.  Every time they ask who they should make into Pop! Vinyl figures next my answer is always Harley Quinn.  Well, now I'm gonna have to think of someone else to harass them about because they're finally taking my advice.  This August you can add Ms. Quinn to your collection, along with Batman Beyond (which I'm also going to buy), Nightwing, and Darkseid.  Now if they would only release Sanford and Son figures.

Super Series Sunday from Tenacious Toys x alto x Creo Design

Super Series Sundays are back!  I know, it's been awhile since I've told you about one of these, but fear not, Tenacious Toys was just working really hard to bring you one of the coolest releases yet.  Creo Design and alto made 10 of these Little Blue Ox figures exclusively for this release and you can only get one tomorrow, June 30th, from http://www.tenacioustoys.com/.

More SDCC Exclusives from DKE

What's this?  A book?  I don't get to talk about my love for the printed page too much, but aside from collecting toys I do love to read.  And I really dig Mike Egan's paintings, so I would call this a win win.  DKE will have 100 copies of this book with a signed bookplate and hand embellished screen print.  All that for only $25!  That's a steal if you ask me.

You wanna know what happens when you spray pesticide near Smurf Village?  Well, here are the results.  David Flores has made those little mushroom dweller 100% less lame by giving them the Deathhead makeover.  Only 50 of them were made in red and for $110, it will give your kids nightmares for years to come.  See, another great value.

If this is what's lurking in space then I'll be happy to stay with my feet firmly planted in New Jersey.  Killer Bootlegs is exposing what the government won't tell us with this crazy looking figure.  I can picture this guy riding around on top of the Mars Rover like a mechanical bull in between his rounds of interstellar terror.  I bet the Russians are behind this.  Only 25 were made and they'll be $100 each.
